Given the difference in sugar content in different varieties, it turns out about a kilogram. The average calorie content of fresh plums is 40-50 kcal per 100 g. Prunes are 6 times calories – 240-300 kcal per 100 g.

With the introduction of plums in the diet, sweets should be excluded. The body will receive the necessary amount of glucose from plums, and the excess sugar from the treats will turn into fat accumulations.

The main drink when losing weight on plums is clean water without gas, at least 1.5 liters per day. Fruit diets – the choice for summer

It is more convenient to go on a diet on weekends or during summer holidays. If bloating or increased bowel activity causes discomfort, the diet should be stopped. Chamomile tea will help relieve spasms.

There are short two-day, long five-day and weekly diets, as well as fasting days with plums. Depending on the term, a diet is selected.

For a fasting day, a kilogram of fresh plums and half a kilogram of low-fat cottage cheese are enough. Food is distributed arbitrarily and consumed when a feeling of hunger occurs. As a drink, pure water is drunk without gas or with lemon juice.

A tough two-day diet, which takes about two kilograms, consists of fresh plums in their pure form. It is supposed to eat only them and drink water or green tea. It will be useful to take a course of vitamins and minerals, as they will be lost due to the diuretic and laxative effect.

Five-day and weekly diets are not so meager. Among the permitted foods, in addition to plums, are starch-free vegetables and fruits. Meat, fish, dairy products and eggs make the menu balanced, enriching it with animal protein.

Plums are included in the daily diet as an independent product for a snack, as a dessert or as part of complex dishes. The main requirement for recipes – plums are combined with protein foods, vegetables and fruits, but not with bread and starch-rich foods.

For example, to make plum salad with feta cheese, greens and brisket is possible, but toasts or pancakes cannot. The only exception for starch is jelly.

It is undesirable to combine plums with vegetables and fruits, which have a diuretic and laxative effect. Watermelons, melons, beets, white cabbage and legumes are prohibited.
